I flew into the Austin airport yesterday afternoon. This morning I spent some time practicing for the worship service I will play for on Sunday morning at the church my mother and sister attend - Our Savior Lutheran Church. Although in a different building from the one which they now occupy, this is the congregation where I was ordained into the ministry in 1979. When the current building was dedicated on August 19, 1990, I was present to play the newly installed organ for the dedication service. It was at that console that I spent some time practicing this morning.
