Today is the day we finally had to say goodbye to the M S Savor, our home for the past eight days. We had sailed over night from Passau to Engelhartszel, Austria. We were originally supposed to sail farther up the Danube to be closer to Prague this morning, but due to low water levels we had to backtrack to this small port. Our luggage had to be out by 7:30 a.m. and we disembarked for last time at 8:00 a.m.

We had a four hour bus ride to Prague, taking a winding scenic route rather than the highways. It was lovely scenery, but most of us had some nap time along the way.
We crossed in to the Czech Republic around 11:00 a.m. and arrived in Prague around 12:30 p.m. After a quick stop at the hotel to drop off carryon bags we then took a short walk for a traditional Czech lunch at Pizenska Restaurant in the Municipal House.

Following lunch we were given a tour of the Municipal House followed by walking tour of Old Town Prague and back to hotel to check in to our rooms around 3:30 p.m.

We had no more scheduled activities for rest of day, so we rested and I caught up on posting to this blog. For dinner we just went to the hotel lounge. As a Tauck guest we receive 20% off anything we buy in the hotel lounge or restaurant. After dinner we headed back to the room by 8:15 p.m. for an early evening to day twelve.
